Mostly with the way that people in fandom - and certainly here and on sf_drama, as well - seem to get into the shoving-down-your-throat SJ opinions of how MEN ARE AWFUL etc etc. and a lot of the people I've come across seem to have a very kneejerk reaction to men being in what they view as "their space" even if it's not some sort of designated "women's space" or whatever, or if it's on an issue of misogyny and the man in question has in fact experienced misogyny himself due to outside perceptions of him as being female.

Ah. Yeah, I get what you mean now. I've seen that too, and I can understand it being really unpleasant and uncomfortable.

Now I think of it, I wouldn't be all that concerned about cis men being ignored on misogyny matters, because they don't have to deal with direct misogyny, but it's not the same with trans men, who have. And while cis men who hear "MEN ARE AWFUL" and suchlike can just flounce or go :/ and go away to real life or elsewhere on the net, I can't imagine that it would be anywhere near as easy to hear that sort of thing if I was realising that I was a man.
