(Anonymous) 2011-08-21 08:31 am (UTC)(link)I guess it's the touch of fanaticism which comes with it and is an example of some of the craziness of some HP fans. Not just this specific case but the fact that some HP fans out there take things far too far.
And HP fandom is one of the craziest fandoms out there- I wouldn't put this on the level of marrying Snape on the astral plane or sending threats to a creator for shipping reasons but it's still pretty stupid.
OP is talking about being 'terrified' of this- not just disappointed, 'terrified'. Which is just absolutely crazy and idiotic.
