While I recognize this show is insanely cheesy and cliche, I unironically love anime like this, so I can't sympathize with the bile. However, I can recommend you just lean back and let it happen, because while I enjoy this sort of thing, this particular show is especially magnetic, and I can't stop watching it/listening to all the songs either.

Huh, well if it's really that bad I'll definitely need to check it out. I thought it was just going to be bland fangirl bait, but I do love me some bile fascination.

Tangential side-note about this anime season, is anyone still watching Sacred Seven at all? Kind of straddles the line between "awful because of how boring it is" and "so stupidly cliche it's charming", but I haven't watched past episode 3.

I watched Sacred Seven to episode 3 and dropped it. Don't have enough time to follow that many shows right now, and it was just too mediocre for me to justify continuing...

And UtaPri is something I should probably drop so I can watch something that's actually more than fangirl bait, but there's a reason I'm replying to this secret.

I was guilted into watching "at least one episode, please!" by a friend in return for her watching another show I was into so I'd have someone to fangirl with since most of the other fans are in a different time zone from me.

I feel like I wrote this secret :||||| Fucking hell Sho and Natsuki/Satsuki *fans self* I kind of really want to write fic (really, I just want to read really good fic and haven't gone looking yet) for them because that is some epic messed up stuff that needs expounding upon if I ever saw a pairing, UNF.

This show. I CANT LOOK AWAY.

I unironically enjoy reverse harems once in a while, but Utapri presented itself as not particularly self-aware the first episode, and I was like, "oh god, this is either going to be my LEAST favorite show or my MOST favorite show, I give it three episodes." By the second episode, when it turned out to be utterly self-aware, that was it. GLORIOUS.

You can't fight it. It's too ridiculous. Just lay back and let it wash over you.
