I hate it that it's near impossible to criticize her character because you immediately get slammed as a fat basher. Doesn't matter how large or small, if someone stood me up after promising to show up at a date, I'd call her a ginormous bitch too. And not the good type, the annoying, pitiful type.

Almost everyone on that show is an asshole. The reason Lauren gets so much hate for it is because of her looks. I wish more people would just admit it.

idk it's easier to hate someone if you don't like the look of them. just take a look at all the pretty asshole characters who are liked in fandom, and compare it to all the ugly asshole characters who are hated in fandom.

She's a bit like Jacob Ben Israel though, you're not supposed to like them because they're gross. The scene were both of them are practically having orgasms over Will and Rachel is seriously disgusting/embarrassing.
They haven't given her much to do besides being a bitch, so don't be surprised if people only see her as that.
