I don't know about all of the girls, though. Rachel I would definitely say doesn't, or at least has a lot of issues with it. It seems like no matter how many times Rachel resolved to move on from Finn and focus on her career, she never really did, and kept pining and crawling back whenever the opportunity presented itself. She is pretty confident in her abilities, but the way she clings to her 'perfection' and place in the spotlight makes me think that she doesn't actually feel very good about herself (well. That's probably pretty obvious, I guess). Tina I do think sort of learned her lesson and came to respect herself more after the whole cheerleader fiasco when she started dating Mike. Brittany I sincerely can't tell. I mean, she doesn't really have too many defining characteristics except that she's dumb and when she's not dating someone she sleeps around. That could be either a plea for attention or simple sexual gratification, though, it's hard to say since we're not really given a good look at it. I think I generally would lean more towards saying she does have a decent sense of self respect given her interactions with Artie and Santana during their respective break-ups and hook-ups, though. I don't even know about Mercedes. I'm too tired to really do an analysis, I hope you'll forgive me. This is obnoxiously long, anyway, so I'll stop here.
