I think you confused a lot of people, OP; from the way you phrased the secret they think you're not Asian but wish you were so you'd be better at cosplay.

As for your actual secret: no, I don't think it's racist, or at least not in a way that you really need to worry about. To give an analogy, it'd be like a black guy who's not a very good dancer, watching black guys who are good dancers, saying "Man, I wouldn't feel quite so bad about not being able to dance if I was a white dude instead." You can say that's a little bit racist, because the chain of logic draws on the positive stereotype of black people as being better dancers than white people, but frankly we could wish that the worst consequence of racism was for certain groups to be perceived as having particular skills and talents.
