Pshaw. Zac's a great drummer, and you don't need to be embarrassed to have been inspired by him just because the band rose to fame on bubblegum pop. They've evolved since Middle of Nowhere. (But I do secretly hope for the day one of them decides to really rock out.)

Dude, fuck people. If he's what inspired you and you feel like acknowledging that then good on you. There will always be people that judge you no matter what and you'll never be able to please everyone so just be yo'self, dude.

I don't care much for Hanson one way or the other, but if I was a fan of a band I'd be impressed to hear one of the members reveal an "embarrassing" revelation. :) I say that if you do actually raise to fame, don't be afraid to be the real you, no matter what that entails. I love feeling like musicians and other celebs are real people.

I always thought the Hanson brothers seemed to genuinely appreciate music. This seems like a good thing and not something to feel ashamed for. I'm sure Zac would be pleased to hear he's inspired someone enough to take up drumming. :)
