im a little confused...is the big picture a picture of someone's artwork? that they took a photo and painted over it and tried to call it art? all of the pictures just look the same, the only difference being that OP put them on different blend modes

Ugh... there's someone in my fandom who does that too, except that they filter porn pics which are harder (no pun intended) to trace back with tineye/google images. Still, obvious photoshop filter is obvious and it drives me nuts.

All I get from this is that someone, somewhere, said they painted something when they had, in fact, manipulated a pre-existing image via computer program.

Uh, I could be wrong, but I think what this secret is trying to say is that the person took photographs of the actors/screencaps from the show and overlayed them with some sort of filter to make them look fuzzier/less real, and then (mostly successfully) tried to pass them off as fanart that they had done themselves.
