If I have to read one more fic about a grown man in a tv/movie/book fandom that curls up on their bed and cries because they don't know if the one they love loves them back
Imma slap a bitch.

I've found more weepy sniveling crying weak spined grown men written like they're in fucking highschool and crying over the boy they love the most than in nonanime fandoms than in anime fandoms.

Ever.
Well, except when their village is burned to the ground and/or their girlfriend is fridged. Then they shed a few silent, manly tears before taking revenge in a blaze of glory.
They never, like, cry because the woman they love hurts or leaves them. Or they lose their jobs. Or they find out their children are seriously ill. Or because a film is sad. There weren't, like, hundreds of grown men crying over the opening scenes of Up. Never! Ever! That's for little boys! Or worse, icky people with vaginas.
