For me it boils down to this: I never thought that the Nostalgia Chick was supposed to be annoying. I mean, look at the NCritic. Maybe it's just me, but while he's grating, adn angry and over the top, he's not intentionally annoying as his shtick. (YMMV, of course.) I would hope that NChick would be the same, not intentionally and constantly annoying, and yet I find myself annoyed by her. Constantly. Meanwhile Elisa I thought was intentionally supposed to be annoying as the joke, and hence I forgive her.

NChick=unintentionally annoying=me annoyed and frustrated with the Nostalgia Chick
Elisa=written annoyingly as a joke= me annoyed and frustrated, but with the Nostalgia Chick, not her.
