I think that Nostalgia Chick would be much less annoying if she'd cut out all of her "skits" and boyfriend cameos and MAKEOVER MAKEOVER MAKEOVER MAKEOVER MAKEOVER MAKEOVER, MAKEOVER and just focused on reviewing nostalgic films and televisions shows. So for me, it doesn't matter who is "worse," because they all bring down the overall review.

THIS THANK YOU. This is why I stopped watching, I get so much second hand embarrassment AND boredom (how is that possible?!) with that stupid Lupa/Todd crap she has going. It's like yes chick, you have a boyfriend, good for you, now can we get back to the reviews please?

But LINDSAY has a boyfriend, the Chick is an obsessive stalker and Todd the character can't even remember her name.

Well yeah obviously the woman does and not her character, that's what I meant to talk about semantics, point is I'm not a fan of the whole plot line and I'm not a fan of Todd and he's in a lot of her videos. Then again I'm not a huge fan of the Skits and Side Plots anyway.

For me it boils down to this: I never thought that the Nostalgia Chick was supposed to be annoying. I mean, look at the NCritic. Maybe it's just me, but while he's grating, adn angry and over the top, he's not intentionally annoying as his shtick. (YMMV, of course.) I would hope that NChick would be the same, not intentionally and constantly annoying, and yet I find myself annoyed by her. Constantly. Meanwhile Elisa I thought was intentionally supposed to be annoying as the joke, and hence I forgive her.

NChick=unintentionally annoying=me annoyed and frustrated with the Nostalgia Chick
Elisa=written annoyingly as a joke= me annoyed and frustrated, but with the Nostalgia Chick, not her.

...If any of that made sense, even. -_-;;

Obviously YMMV on humor, but Chick really is supposed to be a mean, hypocritical, straw feminist bitch. Just look at one of the jokes on She's All That, the @hypocrisy tag.

I haven't watched her videos recently, as I was just finding her to not be someone I liked watching, but I might have to watch the "She's All That' video...

I guess, for me, it's easier to seperate their character from who they really are, but it's harder for me to do it with the Nostalgia Chick... YMMV, of course, though. <3

If she would just shut UP about the Phantom, I would be good. They ran that joke into the ground so hard it's on the other side of the world now.

Point, but there's just something about the Phantom-gag that gets to me. I've met too many people who REALLY like PotO like she acts, so it just makes me think of them. Plus, it recently got into Paw's reviews, so that made my jaw tick slightly.

I find her more interesting than the Chick honestly. She has tons of passion about the thing's she's into and has a larger than life personality. Sure she's kind of annoying in her persona but it's an entertaining annoying, especially in smaller doses.
The Chick is always so dry and serious and pseudo-academic and it's fine if that's what you're into but I'm here for the over dramatic fits. Plus she often reviews things I really like so there's no awfulness to get excited over, no particularly awesome jokes to hear and nothing really for me to learn. (Littler Mermaid has a twisted message? Oh Shit! It's not like I didn't figure that one out at age 8.) So her reviews intrigue me less than other reviewers which creates something of a bias.

I find myself liking everyone on Team NChick, actually. Although I can understand how their overuse of certain jokes frustrate people.

Agreed. I don't mind any of those people, but this girl's voice is a pain.

They're all just a gaggle of stupid broads who think they're hillarious and witty and just aren't. I had to stop watching, it was Secondary Embarrassment City all up in there.

To be fair, 90 % of all TGWTG contributors think they're hilarious and just aren't. Best example: Spoony.

IDK I don't really find Spoony funny per se. But his reviews are often entertaining and bring up good points.

Which is more than can be said for Team NChick.

I don't mind her-- I just wish she'd stop singing.

That's the wonderful thing about opinions and points of view: We're all allowed to have different ones.

I think the Chick is boring, dull, and way too serious (yes, it's her character but it's a little much for me) and that Elisa is over the top, hilarious, and passionate.

You are allowed to think exactly the opposite. Enjoy your own point of view and I shall enjoy mine.

Did you just list boring and dull as distinct adjectives?
That is entertaining and also it entertains me.

I don't mind her too much, but that Phantom joke is starting to push me there. I just don't get why this seemed like an entertaining enough thing to make into every one of her appearances.

Her voice grates a bit, but I love her skull collection.
