Don't recall saying that skinny = healthy. What I said was meant more along the lines of morbid obesity =/= healthy. People with BMI's between 19-29 are generally healthier than those with BMI's greater than 31 (less risks).
And I understand the underprivileged argument. I really do. I came from a poor family who cooked unhealthy shit everyday. Ended up having a BMI of 33 by age 21. It was hard but I'm down to a 26 right now (2ish years later) and loving it. My regime wasn't even that special or intense. It wasn't the first time I tried losing the weight either. I just woke up earlier, ate healthier well portioned meals 3-4 times a day, and went biking whenever I had the time (morning or afternoon).
I mean fuck it it's your body. If you wanna keep sitting on your ass, eating, and being depressed about your weight but not doing anything about it (like I was) then go ahead. Hf having a heart attack before the age of 30 thanks to the f.a.m. and pseudoscience.
