Don't recall saying that skinny = healthy. What I said was meant more along the lines of morbid obesity =/= healthy. People with BMI's between 19-29 are generally healthier than those with BMI's greater than 31 (less risks).

And I understand the underprivileged argument. I really do. I came from a poor family who cooked unhealthy shit everyday. Ended up having a BMI of 33 by age 21. It was hard but I'm down to a 26 right now (2ish years later) and loving it. My regime wasn't even that special or intense. It wasn't the first time I tried losing the weight either. I just woke up earlier, ate healthier well portioned meals 3-4 times a day, and went biking whenever I had the time (morning or afternoon).

I mean fuck it it's your body. If you wanna keep sitting on your ass, eating, and being depressed about your weight but not doing anything about it (like I was) then go ahead. Hf having a heart attack before the age of 30 thanks to the f.a.m. and pseudoscience.

I'm ok with the f.a.m. when it's all about getting people to stop saying comments like "man the harpoons".

Pretty soon though I won't be surprised if someone starts a s.a.m. for the shits and gigs. For every skinny person whose been told:

-to eat more because they look gross, when they're healthy and naturally skinnier than most people
-to stop being skinny because they look like "sex dolls and commercial props"!
