Stepping into this fandom was really weird for me because I wasn't expecting the magnified hate toward female POV characters not named Arya. Admittedly, AFFC wasn't very enjoyable for me, and ADWD was a chore for me (twist after twist! it's just like LOST durrrr!), but Brienne basically broke my heart for all the crap she gets put through and everyone's terrible expectations of her.

Just. I'd love it if I never had to read a Theon chapter again, but people hating Brienne's is—I don't get it.
