Torchlight is silly? I've seen the game but never played. If it's legitimately funny, I'll probably give it a shot. I like amusing games.

Also, I understand OP. The two games that I'm most looking forward to this year are Gears of War 3 and DeathSpank: The Baconing. even though DeathSpank is already out, I've been too busy to sit down and play it. :(

I think that was meant in a "doesn't take itself seriously, it's just some light entertainment" kind of "silly" rather than the hilarious and witty type. Idk, that's the impression I got from the game, maybe the OP did find it wittily hilarious.

Okay, DA2 and ME2 made me rage pretty hard about the uselessness of past "choices".... but I'm still holding out hope that ME3 will pull it together and give us actual, story-changing consequences to our transferred decisions.

Sadly my computer can't run any of the Mass Effect games, but it's great with Torchlight... so I'll be looking forwards to the new Torchlight game a few thousand times more than ME3. Anyway, I'd rather have something small that's better than I thought (as TL was) than something epic that's... not actually that epic (DA2, huh).

So you are more excited about a sequel to a game that you genuinely enjoyed and were entertained by (presumably) than a cinematic RPG that employs the illusion of choice too much? Well damn. I get that Mass Effect is the more... popularly "acceptable" choice of things to be excited for, but this isn't much of a "omg my friends will disown me!" secret. Or at least, it shouldn't be.

Whatever works for you and all that. I personally have never been into Diablo-types, but I got way too invested in the Mass Effect universe - and been told that the choices from ME1&2 will matter in 3. Hoping that holds true. Even if not, I'll probably still enjoy ME3 more than is healthy.
