I get why you'd comment anonymously if you're being an asshole. what I can't understand is why so many people comment anonymously when they're NOT being assholes and just responding to the secret, or asking questions and getting into discussions. like, you can't post this logged in? it's that embarrassing? IDK.

I like talking about stuff on F!S, and if someone sticks a usernote on me, that's cool.

Because people can, and do more often than you'd think, follow someone back to their lj and harass them if they don't like what the person said - and it sometimes happens even if you are polite.
