What a zombie wants, I know that, at least I can predict what it's gonna do to me when it finds, but an already violent human without the boundaries of law and society?

In general, when you're up against apocalypse and whatnot, the jerkasses that are decent survivalists are probably going to far better, at least for a while. Until the surviving nice people organized.

I'd take him over Shane without hesitation. I'm rusty on details about the other characters at this point (such is today's year-long season gap trend).

I think that if the dead star walking, you wan,t to be by the side of whoever keeps you alive. Moralities and niceties are a luxury you no longer have if you are in constant fear of dying.

I think I'd pick Shane. Rick may be the more 'natural' leader, but he tends to get the group into situations where someone is likely to die. Like going back for Merle? Shane never would have gone back for Merle. Daryl's just too unpredictable and racist. Can't deal with that shit in a zombie apocalypse.

I LOVE HIM

I spent so very much of the first season expecting him to die (cause he's credited as Special Guest Star Norman Reedus) and not looking forward to it at ALL. He may be a dick but unlike his brother he's a dick who's fun to watch, not a dick who you just want to go the fuck away and never come back. And yeah, he'd be great to team up with when the zombies do come - just don't leave his brother for dead like a mouse in a trap and you should be fine (Glen's my actual favourite, though. if anything happens to him I may RIOT)
