I agree but I'd include Iniesta in that secret. I mean, Messi is awesome, he really is, but last year Xavi and Iniesta were as good at their jobs in Barça as Messi. And PLUS they won last FIFA World Cup with Spain. I'd like to see either of them winning that prize. Xavi and Iniesta deserve it too.

I'm a Madrista and I agree. Both Xavi & Iniesta deserve more than they've got atm.

Even with my intense hatred of Barca, and by extension all of the players, I fully agree with this secret.

Barca have some absolutely astounding players, but they're all overlooked at awards time because of Messi. It's a shame, really.

As much as I am a Madridista and hate 99% of the shit that comes out of his mouth, IA. Him (and Iniesta, really) deserve it more than Messi does, and I feel like people continue to give Messi awards because 'omg it's Messi best in the world!!!11!!!' and it's like sacrilege not to think that way, when really, there are people that are just as or more deserving.

<3 I agree completely, and I'm a total Messi fangirl. Xavi is an amazing midfielder and he is vital to the success of Barca. I keep hoping that he will get one soon, but...it's all in vain, I am thinking. =(
