That pairing, ugh.

...Actually, I feel that way about every Gamzee pairing. I just can't stand the guy. He bugs me more than Eridan and Equius put together with a dollop of Doc Scratch on top, even.

I agree, but I think it's sad. He has/had a lot of potential to be an engaging character...I think Homestuck just has so much stuff going on and so many characters that fleshing out all of them is implausible. I still like Gamzee though, I can't hate on the guy who has my zodiac symbol on his shirt...even if he is a scary-ass Juggalo. And I'm not gonna lie, Karkat <> Gamzee is probably my favorite canon romance.

Agreed.

I think part of his popularity stems from being the purely comic relief character, and a juggalo.
Two things that generally annoy the shit out of me.

While his mental instability may have made him more interesting, it seems more forced in for the effect of "LOL U GAIZ I TRICKD U" than anything else.


Although I'm glad Vriska's dead, too.
She was fucking annoying, just not on the same level.
