I just got this whole show and I'm SUPER PSYCHED to sit down and watch it all over again, but as I was downloading it I cherry-picked a bunch of the Niles/Daphne episodes to set at high priority and watched them ahead of time. I'm gonna watch them over again in order, but c'mon, the episode where Daphne hates Martin's awful girlfriend and goes to Nile's during the heatwave and it's like 15 minutes of sultry innuendo? Couldn't help myself!

Frasier was as close to perfect as sitcoms get. Niles and Daphne were a HUGE part of that.

Anyway as for your secret I think you can "thank them" by just trying to live your life with the sort of passion and enthusiasm that the creators of the show tried to imbue into the characters, you know? And if you ever have secrets from someone close to you, learn from Niles and Daphne's mistakes, and tell them!

Hahaha I remember I used to watch this show really casually back when I was a kid, kind of taking it for granted as part of the fabric of TV. Then I forgot all about until it suddenly appeared on Hallmark Channel last summer and I was like "FUCK HOW DID I NEVER REMEMBER THAT THIS SHOW IS SO FUCKING AWESOME??" And the way the reruns were set up in six-episode blocks until midnight meant that every single damn time, I missed the arc where Niles and Daphne get together, so it'd jump from them being apart one day to them being together the next for at least three cycles >:(

oh my god, ME TOO. It's ridiculous. That's why I sucked it up and downloaded it. I'm so upset it's not on netflix instant.
