yeah. I fill kink memes when I have writers block or feel creatively dead. It's incredibly invigorating and a great ego stroke (though I do keep in my that requesters are basically obligated to be nice about whatever you write. :P). It gets rid of the feelings of inadequacy and anxiousness surrounding a writing block and finishing something (even a fill) always feels good. Gets you in the right frame of mind to be inspired again

I love this secret. NGL, I've felt like that too whenever I got positive feedback on my work from fandom. Perhaps it's because you know it's honest and due to your talent not any ulterior motives. And it's for something you love to do.
