You're not alone. I like his singing and so I listen to his stuff (I really like this song in particular, too), but there's just something about him as a person that I can't get around, and I know nothing about his personal life.

I saw one of his music videos in a store before I knew who he was and all I could think was "My god this man is a douche." When I eventually found out who he was I just couldn't get past that initial impression, even though pretty much all my friends love him.
