Agreed. Though /any/ mention of the series does that to me because it's so rare to find these days. Plus someone anti-Hiei and Kurama is always a plus in my books.

I had no idea this fandom is still active. YYH fandom is where I read my first fanfic, Hiei/Kurama was my first yaoi ship etc. This brings back so many memories...

What, no Kurama/Kuwabara? I seem to recall the former getting mistaken for the latter's girlfriend at some point. :B

There's some pretty good art for this pairing; I used to dislike the idea but the art brought me around a little bit.

I agree that Hiei's dynamic with Mukuro is interesting but I have a hard time getting interested because tbf I think she's a little too badass for him.

I totally agree with you, even though I got into YxK later of the two. KxK was sorta forced onto me by a friend but it became something of a guilty pleasure that I now find manifesting in many of my pairings in other series.

It took me a while to figure out what the pairing in the first image was supposed to be, due to the different art style. :B

I ship Yuusuke with like everyone. Hell, I have tons of ships from YYH that I'm on board for, anyway.

I see no Yoko/Yomi there...

I ship Kurama with just about everyone, but I've got a soft spot for him with both Kuwabara and Yusuke, which is evident in the fact that I write lots of fic about it.

I don't understand why, but YYH is the only series that I could never ship any yaoi pairings .__.

That said, I do love Kurama's relationship with Yusuke and Kuwabara XD

While I wouldn't say I ever hated Hiei/Kurama as a ship, OMFG YES to everything else in your secret. I freaking LOVE Yusuke/Kurama and Hiei/Mukuro! ♥

SO MUCH AGREE.

I could never understand why it seemed that nearly the entire fandom agreed that Kurama and Hiei belonged together. And while I can't argue and say they didn't have a dynamic of sorts, I don't believe they had anything that made their relationship stand out from those of other characters.

This was my first time spent in a fandom back when I was in my early teens. I remember being so upset that there was so much of a pairing I didn't like XD

I'm still convinced that if Kuwabara had been prettier, there would have been tons of Yusuke/Kuwabara. It was the first thing I looked for when I went searching for YYH yaoi back in the day, and I was sadly disappointed.
