I'll tell you what: when there is an abundance of black shows with black characters that aren't created by Tyler Perry, not outdated (I'd love to write New York Undercover, Different World, and Living Single fic, but good luck finding the complete series for many black shows on DVD so that I can remember shit), not walking talking bullshit stereotypes, and are more than "the black one" on the show/movie/book they are from, then we can talk about why black folk aren't shipping more black folk.
