It just sounds so wide open. I haven't seen a definition that doesn't boil down to personal preference in labels rather than actual traits. By some definitions, anyone who goes against gender norms is genderqueer. Er, hence bringing it up in a demi thread. Wide open label.

Yeah, the only person who can define you is you, but that winds up meaning that labels only mean anything individual to individual. It drags communication down unless you discard labels completely and ask after specifics (only)when they're appropriate.
