I don't think being a nuisance is Louis's style at all, and possibly why he and Lestat sort of "broke up". Traveling the world pulling shenanigans just because is really more of Lestat thing, and Louis seems like the kind of vampire who keeps to himself and tries to not cause trouble or be purposefully obnoxious to everyone around him.

Isn't the entire IwtV book basically Louis being an inadvertent nuisance? I think that's why Louis and Lestat are so perfect for each other tbh. Louis thinks he's "above" the immature crap Lestat does. But they're just as annoying and nuisancy as each other.

Later on, especially in Tale of the Body Thief, Louis pretty much puts his foot down to all of Lestat's shenanigans, and makes it pretty clear he's sick of Lestat acting to immature and purposefully horrible to other.

I think more action from Lestat would have been good, too. I quickly lost interest in the series after he Blue Screened. :P I'm not sure how I made it through Menmoch, TBH...

Though the Vampire Armand is one of my favorites from the series, I admit! I'm pretty sure Lestat wasn't even in that one. *laughs*

I SWEAR I DID NOT MAKE THIS SECRET, but I could have. Switch it to after Tale of the Body Thief and add in David, and this would have been my perfect continuation of the Vampire Chronicles. Alas, it only lives on in our dreams.

Like above, I don't think Louis is the type for adventure. Nevertheless I can see Lestat dragging him along.

I'm disappointed there weren't more scenes with them together overall. But that just makes the ones the exist more special.
