Gonna agree with this. As angry as I was at Eleven for lying to Amy- ultimately older Amy still chose to tell Rory to not let her in after it looked liked he'd unlocked the door.

Ten OTOH didn't even give Donna a choice on whether she wanted to die with her memories, or have them erased.

I don't agree with people who feel that the Doctor passed the buck to Rory when it came to the choice. I thought it was ultimately Rory and Amy's decision, even though it was the Doctor's fuck-up, and leaving it to them was the cruel but also right thing to do.

**Preferably the people to make the decision should be the Amies, but one was out of commission at that point.
