Because she's just as tyrannical, just on the opposite end of Uther's scale. She's also a selfish brat. She doesn't have the mind for process that Merlin does. Would killing Uther be a bad thing right NOW? YES. We need Arthur to give magic a thumbs-up. We do not need him to think that magic has corrupted Morganna and then killed his father. Morganna wants what Morganna wants, and she wants it now.

I'm surprised nobody saw this coming. She's been this way since the series started.
