The only problem is that the writers screwed up her characterization big-time. I mean, Morgana executing those innocent civilians was complete BS, it doesn't fit with the girl who went to fight in a battle to save Merlin's village (people she doesn't even know! on behalf of Arthur's servant!) among other things.
And y'know what, even if we're meant to believe that's the real Morgana, it still remains that nothing she does will make her worse than Uther. There's no valid reason for him to be the king, as supported by Merlin, while she's condemned- how can she be worse than the genocidal tyrant who's killed men, women and children? But the show's all 'SUPPORT MERLIN AND HIS ETERNAL QUEST TO SAVE UTHER AND KEEP THE MAN ON THE THRONE' and 'MORGANA IS SO EVIL, SHE WAS WILLING TO ORDER THE DEATHS OF INNOCENT PEOPLE
let's ignore the hero of the show is backing a man who's doing the same and done it for YEARS'.The hypocrisy, ugh.
