1. Usually, I support canon pairings. But I'm the complete opposite. I continue reading/watching even if my favorite pairing is thwarted; I just wish it didn't sting so much.

2. Last line aside, I agree

3. I'm, honestly, afraid that I might know you.

5. I only Friends Only my journal to protect my friends. At least I know who'll be reading what I say.

6. That's an unpopular fandom?

7. Characters are just that, characters. As long as you don't condone school violence, I don't see the harm.

8. Not that pairing in particular, but I concur.

9. No, famous people having hobbies is not weird. But famous people being into things that I'm also interested in? Yes, knowing that does amuse me.

10. I know I live under a rock or something. but what's a BNF?

19. This seems to be a popular issue, people hating characters because of one person.

21. That's really not healthy. I hope things work out for your self-esteem, in the end.

22. WTF?

23. Boston Legal <3 My job interfered with me continuing to watch that show, sadly.

29. The amount of people wondering if this is a troll makes me laugh. Maybe it is... My secret?
I could have written that, and I mean it. Yaoi does nothing for me, I don't find men attractive.

31. IAWTS. I wish I didn't.

6. Well, it's not exactly Bleach or Naruto. :\

But it was. There was a time when you couldn't turn around without stepping on a YGO fan. It's a big fandom. Just because it's not as popular as the current pop series doesn't mean it's small. You just sound like a whiney attention whore. "Wah wah, my fandom is not big enough for me to get attention."

Why don't you try being a fan of something not internationally marketed, made into toys, games, pillows, toothbrushes, and a hundred other products and then try and complain about it not being popular.

You're assuming that because the fandom I chose as an example is internationally marketed, I don't also like fandoms that aren't heard of. Yeah, not cool. YGO is the one fandom I can actually participate in that has a semi-large following, and even then it's not as recognized as much as the fandoms I mentioned earlier. Naruto and Bleach, among others like Fullmetal Alchemist or anything Clamp related, are nearly as internationally recognized as YGO. I mentioned YGO because the fandom isn't taken seriously.

That being said, I also like series such as Fantastic Children and King of Bandits: Jing, which have little to no fandoms at all. And it's not so much about getting attention as trying to grow in my areas of focus, be they graphics or writing. There's no opportunity for growth because there is nobody from whom I can get positive or negative feedback.
