I went to WonderCon this year and there was a very attractive guy playing White Lantern Captain Boomerang. Me and my Confused Lady Boner were distracted for the first bit of the panel XD

...or maybe his new design coincides with a reboot/better marketing, and there are more fans in general? I mean, it's a bit hard for me to agree with you when I don't know the comic.

I wish they'd bring Owen back. I love Digger, although I loved him as his douchetastic self (especially in the Suicide Squad days). But I admit, I cannot help but admire the new, hot Digger design (that they took from JLU, more or less).

Oh, don't even get me started on how awful her redesign is. If I was a crazy person, I'd say that DC was making these awful changes just because they don't want me to read their comics anymore. Then again, I'm not a crazy person.

Oh poor Amanda Waller. I get that they wanted to go with a design more like Angela Bassett in GL but WTF DC THAT IS NOT "THE WALL"!!!

If it's Captain Boomerang I'd say they were trying to distract us with the pretty after Johns slaughtered Owen Mercer. Still a nice redesign is better than the Ridder's recent aging porn star look and his future question mark mohawk, not to mention Harley Quinn as a juggalo stripper. Believe me, Digger's look could've been much worse.

Considering some of the terrible recent redesigns, maybe you could try looking at it as a blessing that Digger's redesign was favourable, rather than making him skeevier? Although I know that's easier said than done - I've certainly been raging about what's happened to The Wall.

To be honest, I feel like they're actually trying to make him more appealing, in a shallow sort of way. Between what happened to Owen and what Digger did to Jack Drake, the Boomerang name hasn't been getting good press in the fandom for quite a while. :(

Speaking of the Drakes, his appearance in the last Red Robin didn't look too far from his original look, did it? Apparently I've already forgotten. XD
