I don't think you have anything to fear, considering one of the fandom's staples is "love and tolerate". I'm sure they will love and tolerate you, even if your favorite pony is Photo Finish.

Hell, MY favorite is Rarity. She's rather unloved out of the main cast, I think. More for me lol

I'm not much into the fandom, but from browsing things like Equestria Daily leads me to believe Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash get most of the love.
