Wow, I've heard people say some bad (sometimes true) things about AW, but comparing her voice to Katy Perry's? Now *that* is uncalled for. Talk about speaking ill of the dead!

But...I wasn't? Not exactly, anyway, so I probably wasn't very clear. I said that I prefer her songs when they're done as covers. I also prefer Katy Perry's songs as covers. Amy Winehouse was by far the better musician, and if I had to choose between the two of them in their original formats, I'd take Amy any day, but I like neither of their voices. I do, however, happen to like some of their songs when they're performed by other people.

In other news, I like your icon.

Ha, yeah, I was just joshing ya. If you don't like her voice, you don't like it. I happen to think AW's voice is wonderful, and think Katy Perry sounds like a dying cat, so...yeah. Hence my comment.

Oh my god, 'Firework.' I hate that song so fucking much, I can't even, and it's one of my friend's favorite songs so I hear it all the fucking time to the point where I just want to strangle him. And yes, she sounds a lot like a cat in heat getting run over by a bus in that thing.
