After living in the Middle East for a few years, I was constantly shocked by how many Arabs judged me just based on the media. Educated people, too.

That really has nothing to do with anything, because it's not like it makes it more or less 'ok' to judge a culture based on how much you think they judge you. Just because some Arabs judge you has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that this was a horrendously racist Korean show.

You're right in that it certainly doesn't make it OK for Koreans to be racist. However I did find it amusing that someone (presumably) from a country where anti-Asian and anti-Western media messages are widespread...well, pot, kettle, black!

Also I don't see why I can't analyse and dislike media stereotype's in another country's media as much as my own. Isn't that actually what you're defending?
