not to be rude

but i think you're encouraging someone with an eating disorder

and that's not good. someone like that will use the tools you're describing to nearly kill herself

I can't tell if this is meant for me or not--when it starts getting this long, I get confused. I'll answer anyway. I can assure you I told him/her nothing they shouldn't already know/can't find out from a friend/find on google in 4 seconds. The "other" things I could have told them would have been tools for them to "nearly kill themselves," most definitely; which is why I didn't tell them.

Sorry, I posted before I meant to. I wanted to add: if you really think my comment is encouraging (it very well may be, though I don't think so) I'm pretty sure you can ask to have it removed or something.

You don't know that. She might actually have put on weight. Like, a lot. Her motives might be wrong, but that does not mean weight loss might not be a good thing.
