You must really be annoyed with how much Gackt overcharges his fans if you feel the need to put it here & on j-music-confessions on tumblr.

His things are pricey, but all j-rock products pretty much are, especially when imported. Simple thing to do is not buy it lol.

Basically, this. Japanese products are in general really expensive. Japanese CDs in particular are crazy expensive, and that's not even going on about the shipping.

Exactly. I have bought products from other Japanese artists that are just as expensive as Gackt's things.

When I was in Japan, I bought a magazine for 500 yen. Here in America it's like.. $16. That's a CRAZY difference. But hey, if you want it enough, gotta deal with the import prices lol.

For what? Concerts, cds, merch? All of the above? I don't know what he charges for concerts, but I've yet to see a ticket for anything over there go for less than 6000 yen, and if you're not in Japan, merch and cds are going to be expensive because they're an import product, that has nothing to do with him.
