I have a question that's OT, but relevant to MLP...

How does smut (is that what you guys call it? I know how sensitive people can be when the wrong terms are used) even work? Do you describe the horses doing the horsey nasty to eachother? Do you turn them into humans? I'm curious because writing fic about animals doing eachother seems kinda wrong and sick.

Yeahhh, I'm not into it either, but you probably could have phrased that in a way that didn't make you sound like a judgemental dick. Hell, at least the ponies are sapient. That makes it kind of better I guess.

Because I'm saying it seems sick and wrong. That's it, it's simple. I'm not saying these people are fucked in the head and need to stop it at once. I'm sure even the MLP shippers realize it's sick and wrong and would never tell an irl soul. Does this mean they're judging themselves? Certainly not.

It isn't complicated. You need to slow down and not be so quick to assume things that aren't there or are an exaggeration of what is. Most people in this community need to slow down, I find.

Honestly I've been wondering the same question. And yes, I am judging because, c'mon, it is more than a little bizarre. Those who can't see how it would be a lay-person not in the fandom probably lost their grip on what is "normal" and what is not a long time ago.

It depends on the preferences of the ficauthor/fanartist. Some people humanize the ponies, and others prefer horses doing the horsey nasty. Some people go with a happy medium: anthro furries or centaurs.

I'm not a furry, so I can't speak for them. Speaking for myself, it all looks like cartoons to me. I guess that the internet has jaded me when it comes to Rule 34. To put things into perspective, I have already seen MLP porn before FiM existed.

I think that for some people, they aren't attracted to the cartoon horse bodies as much as they are attracted to beautiful personalities inside the cartoon horse bodies. They become attached to the characters, which to be fair are characters that display a lot of humanity. If they get a weird boner in the process, then... well, they get a weird boner.

Of course, some people are just zoophiles. Better to fap to a picture of a cartoon animal than to fuck a real animal, right?

To say that something seems sick or wrong is to strongly imply that you think it is, but don't have the courage to say so directly. I was trying to show you how seems applied to 'sick and wrong' is obnoxious by applying it to you with 'judgemental' and 'douche'. I think you may have missed the point I was trying to make.
