Dear god did I ever lose track of that metaphor. Okay, just going with the last part of what I said with the Order being the SWP and such - the mayor and the town council would be the ones she'd be spilling secrets for if she were Julian Assange.

I realize I've just made this even more confusing. But if you want to scale it up, if Rita Skeeter is Julian Assange then the United States is the Ministry, not the Order, in the situation you're bringing up. And god knows what the Order and the Death Eaters would be in this situation, because I don't think they're supposed to be part of the government, so...maybe the Death Eaters are the Dominionists and the Order are liberals of some shade? Someone help me.
