But...I AM the gender I feel. I, sadly, AM NOT the SEX I feel, and -- as anon above said -- that is a viable reason for incompatibility, no matter how painful that is. But I know it's much easier to make someone else the villain that white knights can stand up to in defense of the transgendered people of the world (whether it was asked for or not).

Pretty sure I meant sex rather than gender in my original comment (sorry - I've had a drink lol) I agree it's easier to make someone else the villain, and from a relationship POV I sort of agree - but from a fancying-someone-you-will-likely-never-meet POV? I don't see it. (Also I'm used to cis people jumping in in defence and therefore being dismissed a "trying to be kewl". Sorry if I'm defensive!)
