Really? I always thought it was so flattering to get attention from girls, even though I'm straight. :D Most of them were understanding when I apologized for the confusion regarding my orientation, and I even got to make a couple of cool friends through those experiences.

On the other hand, finding a boyfriend who thought my hair was cute was a real PITA...

If I had a nickel for every "You'd look so pretty if you'd grow your hair long...", "Have you ever thought about growing your hair long?" or "Would you grow your hair long for me?" from the guys I dated throughout high school and college, I'd be rich!

Thankfully, my husband doesn't care at all about hair length. :3 But I definitely think guys like him or your boyfriend are in the minority. Glad you found someone who likes it!
