OH HAY, I just stalked your profile to see if you really are me, and I couldn't help but notice that you like lolita fashion too (well, I actually like most styles and have a massive clothing collection, haha). Do you also go without a wig? I keep buying wigs and hating them, so short hair is my signature. I'm hoping to start a trend!

I've got you beat, my hair is about 1.5 inches long at the moment. ^-^ VERY short!

I adore lolita fashion and when I wear it, more often than not, I don't wear a wig. I might add a cute clip or something but because my hair is currently so short I often don't bother. Instead I'll play up my make-up or accessories.

Now when I'm in cosplay, that is a different matter. I do wear wigs with my cosplays.

Where do you get your wigs from? And are you hating them because of how you look in them or because of how they're made? I'm just curious and you don't have to answer me if you don't want to. :D

I also wear wigs when I cosplay, because I'd be too limited in my character choices otherwise. I get my wigs from Amphigory, Cosworx, and CosplayWigsUSA.com, and I usually like the quality.

I guess it's how I look? I am under 5 feet tall and have really... petite facial features for lack of a better word, so I feel like my face (and sometimes my body) gets lost under all of that hair.

I style it depending on my mood, so sometimes it's spiked up and sometimes it's combed flat.

I used to not wear wigs when I cosplayed but instead would use my real hair and stick to characters with long dark brown/black hair. Then I cut my hair very short and started wearing wigs with my costumes. I've done one cosplay with my shorter hair - I cosplayed Watanuki from XXX-holic to my friend's Yuuko.

I can totally relate about one's facial features getting lost under a mass of hair. When I had long hair I would wear it pulled back from my face almost all the time. The only time I left it loose was when I was asleep.
