Why do people insist on using red for text in paint? D: It never shows up well.

I can't, either. There's a lot of fonts clashing with the background in a way that makes 'em hard to read. -_-

Same here.

I know people do it to make their secrets pretty or whatever by using bright colours and fancy fonts... but what is the point of having a pretty secret if people have to strain their eyes to read it? D= What's the allure of bright red/lime green/rainbow text anyway? I don't get it.
