Well, I mean, mathematically speaking, let's say there's a group in which Girl 1 and Boy 1 are dating, and there are 5 other girls and 5 other boys. Now, if Boy 1 is straight, he only has 5 people he could choose to leave Girl 1 for. However, if Boy 1 is bisexual, he has 10 people he could choose. Basically, the selection pool has doubled, meaning that there's more of a likelihood he'll find someone else he wants, and more of a chance that Girl 1 will be hurt.

Looking at this mathematically is essentially flawed. Attraction and romance is more complicated than that. And even if it's as straight as you're making it out to be, five other people is still a temptation.
