10. i remember reading the golden compass back in elementary school and i still think to this day it's amazing. the movies .. i don't know. i'm kind of iffy about them ever since i heard they took out the whole god aspect of it.

i also think it's better than harry potter, but then again i loathe harry potter, so i think everything is better than that stupid series.

yeah! (http://news.bbc.co.uk/cbbcnews/hi/newsid_4070000/newsid_4079300/4079379.stm) i remember reading about it some time ago on ohnotheydidnt and i just .. could not believe it. i mean, that basically IS the entire storyline! i honestly don't know what they're going to do now.
