10. Don't watch it to see your favourite book animated. Treat it like a completely separate entity. That way you won't be so disappointed if it's a bad adaption--like the movie for what it is, not the similarities between it and the book.
14. I should be watching Heroes shouldn't I. =(
20. There are lots of OC RPs out there--you probably don't find them because you're looking for them in the wrong place. If you're so scared that no one will like you... hey, that's what sockpuppets are for, right? Roleplaying your own characters isn't that much different from a fandom character. This is going to sound profoundly cheesy but... you can do it if you try. x(
27. Word.
29. I think I know who you are. =D If it was you who drew the picture in the secret, damn you draw good. I'm jealous.

(Anonymous) 2007-06-25 02:15 am (UTC)(link)I really have no idea where to start looking. I've made enquiries in places, but all the RPs I've found so far are full to bursting (and there's only a few I've found)
Thank you for the support though!

The easiest thing to do is probably make your own if there's none around. Or if you're not up to the responsibility of modding a game you could always pitch an idea to someone who is.
What kind of roleplay are you looking for, anyway?

If you do make one, would you tell me? :D I'm dying to join an OC RP because multifandoms scare me. What style would it be in?

I'm not sure what you mean by style. Do you mean how it would be played? I was thinking about making it a non-LJ RP, one of those old multi-messageboard ones that are a throwback to my old roleplay days. If you don't know what I'm talking about it doesn't really matter because those take a LOT of time to make, so it probably won't be. I looked over the Avoria roleplay you linked on another thread, and if it's on LJ it'll probably be played like that one is--the main community is used for OOC stuff, players make character journals and post in them as if they were the characters' personal diaries, other characters post in first person on the journals to interact. It's the kind I'm most familiar with on here.
It's a pretty poor explanation, I know. Did it make any sense? Is that even the info you're looking for? D=
