Video game fandom, mostly, but a little anime / manga, too. It's like fishing, I think. Some are best thrown back.

seriously, nobody will read that? That's really strange. Most of the epics I know of in my various fandoms are pretty well-received. Unless they're crappy writing or plugged constantly, but even then there are usually some fans. Are you posting on ff.net? If you update at all frequently, you should get "UPDAET PLZ KAWAII-DESU-NE ^_________^!!" every few seconds. Are they really obscure fandoms or something?

Those are the only reasons I know of that nobody would respond to it :( As far as I know, many people enjoy epics. Good luck with your writing♥

I do post at the Pit, but I don't update frequently, since the chapters are ZOMG HUEG. That's something I'm trying to fix in other stories, though, since most folks seem to like their epics in small bites.

And the fandoms aren't obscure, but they're loaded with younger readers, and that probably has something to do with it.
