I have to applaud Bethesda for making a game that was able to get such a reaction from its players. Video games at their best.

Can't comment specifically about this comment or the game as a whole, unfortunately, seeing as I don't know much about it.

ARRGH I DID THE SAME THING. I couldn't believe him! I really, really loved the quest attached to that though - "Walking With Spirits" - that was one my favorite quests in the game. After I slapped him around I took my brain-piece in a jar back and kept it with me all the time. :|

Don't play the F:NV Old World Blues DLC -- it involves much worse than that. (It's also adorable, but organ theft is played for laughs.)

This. Not sure if this counts as a spoiler, but just in case, don't read the next line.

"Oh, yeah, now that you mention it, we kind of took out a couple things...But we replaced them with these robot parts, which are so much better, right?" "You took my WHAT?! And you LOST ONE OF THEM?!" The whole thing is kind of a B-movie parody joke and it makes a point of remind you that, yes, they're all completely insane.

The worst part was there's no way to "recover" that bit of brain. It's just...there in a jar, in your inventory. Forever.

I seriously tried looking around for some way to put it back and was a bit freaked when I couldn't. I might avoid that side-quest in future, actually.

However, I just cut down Tobar with a revolver, the only difference from any other kill being that I deliberately drew it out for some time before finishing him.
