Really? What kind of dog were they? This is our puppy, but we got him from a shelter, so we're not quite sure what he is... :3

(Though, looking at pictures and comparing him to our puppy, I don't think he'd be full maltese...) ^^;

He looks an awful lot like a trimmed Lhaza Apso. He may have a little Shih Tsu in there too. We had a cross and he looked an awful lot like that, only in the standard Shih Tzu colours of white with brown/grey patches. Lhasas are usually gold, though.

I think Maltezes are usually white with black, aren't they? Or is that just one variety? Anyway, my money's on Lhaza Apso. :-)
