The power of Nicola Scott's ass-drawing ability distracts me from the message of the secret, but I get you OP. Of all the DCU, especially the Bat Family, you could have done MUCH WORSE. Dick Grayson is amazing, I am hoping right along with you that he gets treated fairly in the DCNU.

Tell me about it. Every single Nightwing costume ever has been blue, even the ridiculous ones. It was such a silly change and he looked good in it. Blue complemented the acrobat physique and fit with the name much better than red.

And, yet, given everything the DCNU has done to these characters, I feel as though a color change probably isn't something I should worry about. -_-

Compared to the drastic changes some of the other characters have seen (namely the females), I think Grayson will be alright. :)

You are right, but compared to having an entire personality erased, all character development of the past 20 years stripped away, complete deletion of a moral compass for the fun of it, re-imagining as a juggalo or downright not existing, I'm afraid that's not saying much.

That said, Dick seemed fairly similar to himself. Smart and sweet, with very stereotypical bachelor habits (endearingly so. I burst out laughing over the cereal).

And, OP: DC writers are possessive over Dick. They spoke in a single voice over the idea of killing him, so I think they'll probably stand up for keeping him as intact as possible.

Agreed. It's just a bit sad that he's all alone now since they practically deleted everyone from his "generation" (Wally? Donna? Roy's way younger, don't get me started on Kory and how nowadays they weren't in love, Vic's with the JLA. and I could pertty much go on listing Dick's Titans which aren't there anymore (I still hold hope for Joey though, since we saw Rose in the Superboy comic).

But yeah, personality-wise he's still good!
