I don't recognize anything in the second pic, but if I had to guess, you seem to be implying that only one of the pair is 13 Earth years old. I can see someone taking issue with that but being okay if they're both the same age.

The blue guy is an alien with complete amnesia and no understanding of human... anything, including sex/romance/etc. And we don't know how old he is. /:

So I don't think that's it.

The human boy is definitely 13. It's a little more ambiguous on the blue guy, since he's an alien and for plot reasons we know practically nothing about how his people/homeworld work, but by his personality/dynamics I'd put him somewhere in the 12-to-15 age.

The series doesn't treat it as if there's an age gap between them. Culture gap, but not age.

It's probably because romance and "sexual" content exist in the Homestuck canon, but are almost completely absent from ZEXAL.

In Homestuck, you have shipping wall, on-screen kissing/making out, onscreen slighted jealous suitors murdering the crap out of the object of their prior affection, conversations about sex and sexual preference, comparisons between how different species reproduce, on-screen (censored) fetish pornography, etc...

Meanwhile in ZEXAL, we get "Cathy has a crush on Yuma and he's clueless; Yuma and Kotori probably like each other like that but don't know it / won't realize it until they're in high school" as the extent of romance plots.

Or, put more simply, John and Karkat display more familiarity and, weirdly, maturity as far as romantic things go, so it's more "plausible" to see them in that light. Yuma and Astral, on the other hand... well. Astral has problems with things like "how does the human digestive system work" and "what do you mean television shows aren't real." And Yuma is just...

tl;dr: homestuck porn probably skips your squick reaction because part of you acknowledges that the characters would at least be curious enough about sex, in their canon, that them having sex doesn't seem like a big jump, whereas ZEXAL porn triggers your revulsion because the characters are still struggling with concepts like Why It's Not Okay To Watch Someone On The Toilet.
